Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre
A visual and hands-on introduction to some of the weird and wonderful marine animals that live in coastal Fleurieu waters. Following an interactive slideshow with videos, each child has the opportunity to make a collage artwork depicting one or more Fleurieu marine animals in a marine scene. Guidance and art/craft materials provided. Also includes a sand-play tray with marine objects for younger participants. Presented by a qualified experienced marine scientist and special educator.
Duration: 90 minutes, includes a 10-minute drink and snack break (bring your own snack and drinks, tea and coffee provided for parents/carers).
Please note: This event is suitable for children aged 6–12. Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
